ROC Zadkine’s target group is extremely heterogeneous. On the one hand, there are the students in the age-group of 16 to 18 years old, with or without certificates, who come from pre-vocational education, junior general education, pre-junior secondary vocational education, or senior general education.
On the other hand, there is an older, also very diverse group of students that either already has a job or wants to take a vocational qualification after all or wants to do refresher courses or prefers to be retrained.
In order to provide suitable courses, ROC Zadkine’s secondary vocational education has a choice of two educational routes that eventually lead to the same certificate: there is the full-time college-based training route that includes work placements, and there is the part-time work-based route that combines education with an apprenticeship in a company.
Adult education also offers various options, such as senior secondary general adult education, courses focusing on social sufficiency, citizenship and functioning in a society, Dutch as a foreign language and vocational training routes.
Adult education as well as secondary vocational education offer courses at different training levels compliant with the national qualification structure.
Zadkine Contract Activiteiten bv, Zadkine Contract in short, is an enterprise that works independently alongside ROC Zadkine. It offers made-to-measure courses on a commercial basis for companies, institutions and private individuals.
